A Message from Principal, John A. Wall

 

As principal, it gives me great pleasure to extend to all of our students, parents, and our greater community a warm welcome to West Charlotte High School.  Our staff, parents, and students feel that our school is one of the best in the state.  We are creating tomorrow’s leaders today by developing in students a strong sense of citizenship and service.  Here at West Charlotte High School, our main goal is to prepare each student to be the best they can be.  In support of this goal, the faculty has adopted our mission to be:  “The professionals of West Charlotte High School endeavor to promote and support student learning in a safe, diverse community where students, staff, and parents actively commit to academic excellence and personal responsibility.”

 

At West Charlotte, we recognize that high school students experience great challenges intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically. We have dedicated, caring, staff members that are committed to help students successfully transition through these years. We believe every student can achieve to their maximum potential and graduate from West Charlotte prepared for their future either in college, the work force, or in the military.  With everyone’s help, our teachers can direct students toward achieving their goals.

 

West Charlotte High School is an excellent learning community.  Our teachers and staff work closely with our students in bringing quality education to every student.  Our instructional program emphasizes a balanced, standards-based approach to learning.  We are proud of our commitment to student achievement and look forward to continued success.  I can assure you that our school will continue to provide all the resources needed to further the cause for even greater student achievement. Offering our students the latest in curriculum enhancements in a safe, learning environment will continue to serve as our primary focus.
